Recap of our March Event: A Night for Youth Reproductive Justice

To celebrate the power of youth organizing and fight back against the growing right-wing attacks on young people's bodily autonomy, we hosted A Night for Youth Reproductive Justice on the evening of Saturday, March 25 at the Diana Event Oval on Barnard College's campus.

We brought together youth organizers, elected representatives, visual and musical artists, performers, and local activists to speak to and raise awareness about the rising attacks on young people's bodily autonomy – such as limiting access to gender-affirming care, restricting sex education, and the exceptionalizing of abortion care at on-campus clinics.

The event featured amazing performances, awesome food, and tangible ways for young people to get involved in the movement and fight back! The Self-Portrait Project was also there to provide a unique photobooth experience.

All ticket and donation proceeds were split evenly between the New York Abortion Access Fund, the Repro Legal Defense Fund, and the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center.
